Back to thumbnails Home 28" x 22" oil on canvas 2001 A personal favorite of mine. The foreground is large and close, but indistinct. The background is distant, but hard and sharp. The spiritual immanence abides in the emptiness of the foreground, not the denseness of the background. The unknowable nature of reality and the connection between the spiritual and the material are made palpable.
